Years ActiveBiography
Dr. Saqlain Hassan teaches courses in English linguistics and computer-assisted discourse studies. His research centers on analyzing syntax patterns inside academic registers using quantitative computational methods.
My research philosophy is centered on open accessibility and absolute quantitative clarity. I believe language structures should be analyzed systematically via computational tools.
I focus on student-led lexical and syntactic analysis. By teaching students to run corpus queries, they learn to self-correct and analyze academic texts independently.
I built the Corpusforfree Repository to host annotated dataset files, providing researchers around the world with free, open-access resources for linguistics studies.
